Profiles and activities

The Prémol Childhood Center develops an educational action around leisure activities for children aged 3 to 13 years.

It covers the districts of the Olympic Village, Vigny Musset and Villeneuve and ensures the continuity of a permanent reception, within its leisure center, on Wednesdays and school holidays, as well as an after-school reception.

The Prémol Children's Center seeks to consolidate attendance, over the long term, for all its audiences, regardless of their social categories, their neighborhood of origin and their age group, by offering an adapted pedagogy, in the knowledge and respect for the social experience of the inhabitants.

Today

Pierre Becu, thehe director of GRAINES D'ESPOIR has remained in contact with most of the students from the two groups in Grenoble.

There were very strong moments of sharing around the editing of the film, in particular for the Biennale of Cities in Transition in 2019 where a public editing session, in the Palais des Sports in Grenoble. A very special moment that the students were able to share with their parents and loved ones.

Focus on CRAterre

A world reference in the field of earthen architecture, CRAterre strives to improve and disseminate knowledge and best practices at the international level, in particular by

. developing innovative construction sectors and project methods adapted to local contexts,

. developing new teaching methods ranging from the manipulation of materials to the training site,

. following a research program on 3 axes: Heritage, Materials, Habitats.

Concretely, CRAterre deploys its activities in partnership with international, national and local organizations, in more than 50 countries, in 3 main areas:

Conservation and management of earthen architectural heritage;
The constitution of scientific and technical bases for construction and earthen architecture;
Human settlements, housing and improving the living conditions of societies.

CRAterre has a unique documentation center dedicated to earthen construction and architecture throughout the world.

CRAterre has its offices in Grenoble but also in Villefontaine.
